Biography | Publications
Dr. Bertel received his M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science and computer imagery from the University of Rennes I (France) in 2000 and 2003, respectively. While at the University of Rennes I, he authored multi-platform software for France Telecom R&D to render and animate 3D talking characters at an interactive rate, with synchronization between animation and speech.

Currently François is involved in the ParaView project and he contributes to VTK and other projects involving rendering algorithms.  His research interests include visualization algorithms and improvement of design methodologies.
