Charles Marion is an R&D Engineer at Kitware's European subsidiary in Lyon, France. He received a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from CPE-Lyon and his Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Processing from the University of Lyon in 2010.

Since joining Kitware in Lyon, Charles has been involved in several projects in the fields of Medical Imaging, Computer Vision and Data Publication.

Prior to joining Kitware full-time, Charles completed a yearlong internship in Kitware's Chapel Hill, NC office. While interning at Kitware, he worked on MIDAS, a system for collecting, processing, and distributing massive collections of data and implemented a new version of the MIDAS Journal and Insight-Journal, an electronic journal promoting open-science. Charles has also interned at Atos WorlLine in the public and transport department.
