Julien Finet received his B.S. in Computer Science with a specialization in Imaging from the
University Institute of Technology of Reims (France) in 2002, and his M.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from the
Technological University of Compiegne (France) in 2005
Prior to joining Kitware, Mr. Finet worked as an intern at Siemens Corporate Research (Princeton, NJ) in the Neuro Imaging department. While at SCR, he implemented a connectivity mapping algorithm using Markov Chains of Monte Carlo to track human brain fibers. He later worked as a consultant for General Electric Healthcare in Buc (France) in the Advantage Workstation department where he developed tools and algorithms for cardiac applications.
Since joining Kitware, Julien Finet has been involved in numerous projects in the medical and the computer vision departments. He primarily has been working on
NA-MIC Slicer3 and
ParaView.
