As the Compliance Officer, Naomi assists with developing and implementing a compliance program which includes reviewing/creating policies and procedures and assisting with company financial and performance reporting.  She also serves as the audit and tax liaison for the company.

Prior to stepping up to the role of Compliance Officer, Naomi was the Controller for Kitware from February 2005 until April 2006.  With 20+ years of combined finance, accounting and audit experience, Naomi’s most recent experience prior to joining Kitware includes working as a Senior Asset Manager for the New York State Teachers' Retirement System (from 1999 to 2004) where she oversaw a multibillion dollar commercial real estate portfolio consisting of office, retail, industrial and multifamily properties across the United States and was the key project manager for implementing MRI, a real estate and private equity asset management software system.  Prior audit experience includes working as an auditor for the State Comptroller's Office (from 1993 to 1999) where she conducted both financial and performance audits of state agencies, municipalities, public authorities and non-profit organizations. 

Naomi received her B.S. in Accounting and MBA with a focus in Management Information Systems from the State University of New York at Albany in 1993 and 1999, respectively. She received her Certified Internal Auditor designation May 1996. In 2001, Naomi received the Martin H. Ives award from the Institute of Internal Auditors in recognition for outstanding service.
