Biography | Publications
Karthik Krishnan received his M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona, Tucson in 2004 and a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS, Pilani (India) in 2002. His thesis at the University of Arizona dealt with compression and transmission techniques for remote volume visualization. During his last semester as an undergraduate he was an intern at Motorola, Bangalore working on image compression schemes. As a grad student, he spent the summers at Siemens Corporate Research in Princeton, NJ optimizing wavelet based compression schemes for remote visualization.

Mr. Krishnan joined Kitware in December 2004 where his primary focus is on developing end user tools for medical imaging and visualization
