Pat joined Kitware as a student intern in 2007 where he contributed to the ParaView project.  He received his B.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2008 and moved to North Carolina to join Kitware’s Chapel Hill office as a research engineer. 

When not staring at a computer screen, Pat enjoys outdoor activities.  In 2003 he hiked the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada and in 2004 Pat spent five months working on organic farms in Spain and Italy.  He enjoys skateboarding, snowboarding, and surfing.
