Biography

Megha Pandey received a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with an M.Tech in Communication and Signal Processing under the dual degree program at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2007. She received an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011.

While at UNC-CH, Megha was a member of the Computer Vision research group. As a research assistant, she worked on projects such as marker-less motion capture using multiple camera views and scene classification and weakly supervised object localization. She has gained a varied experience in multiple vision-related topics by working on projects which include face detection, expression recognition, dynamic textures, moving object segmentation, estimation of scene illumination, and repairing of raw depth maps from LIDAR point cloud and panoramas, etc.

Megha joined Kitware Inc. in September 2011 where she works as an R&D Engineer for the Computer Vision team.
