For commercial companies, academic institutions, and government labs interested in working with our data management team, we can accommodate various types of projects and contracts. We work with commercial companies on large-scale projects that rival proprietary enterprise solutions through to smaller-scale data provenance for start-up companies or research groups. We can design custom installations of Midas and manage the technology integration to enable better management of your company's data resources, or integrate our current tools into your workflow for more efficient data processing.

Kitware also works alongside research organizations and not-for-profits that run digital journals to develop tailored solutions for uploading, storing, and disseminating articles and data, such as the Optical Society's Interactive Scientific Publishing System. Our work in data management can be arranged to comply with NIH and NSF data sharing policies, enabling collaborative research and data sharing between organizations. We offer a variety of contract options, from basic support to time and materials, or cost plus fixed fee, and we are happy to work with you to meet your specific needs.
