Consulting and Collaboration Medical Imaging
Kitware works with a variety of customers and collaborators. We offer several different working relationships, whether you want to team with us on a government proposal; collaborate on a commercial project; hire us to do custom technology integration and work alongside us during the development process; or simply provide a statement of work and let us handle the rest. For companies and universities interested in working with our medical imaging team, we can accommodate various types of projects and contracts. We have experience working on FDA-compliant projects and as part of large-scale collaborative teams such as the National Alliance for Medical Imaging Computing (NA-MIC). We regularly work with leading universities and organizations, such as the University of North Carolina, Harvard Medical School at Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and the Computer Aided Interventional and Medical Robotics Group on NIH-funded SBIR, STTR or R01 grants to bring lead-edge technology into the medical industry. Kitware can work with your lab or company on pre-clinical trial or clinical trial research; custom consulting or technology integration; or creating personalized solutions for commercial pharmaceutical companies. We can collaborate to design a small prototype through to large-scale production, developing proprietary solutions for device creators. We offer a variety of contract options, from basic support to time and materials, or cost plus fixed fee, and we are happy to work with you to meet your specific needs.
