Mobile visualization is becoming an increasingly important tool in scientific computing. In this arena, Kitware is developing several tools with a web-based framework to enable mobile scientific visualization and other tools designed specifically to work on the iPad. Through mobile visualization, we are enabling easy access to HPC resources and allowing cross-domain expertise on large scale simulation projects where expert teams may be scattered across the globe.
