Prior to Kitware, Andrew attended school at the University of Central Florida and worked on projects such as an asset tracking device with custom hardware, a dynamic projection mapping application, concurrent data structures, and various multilayered java apps.  He also spent time working at AVT Simulations where he contributed to the development and maintenance of the apache gunnery trainer and a tank simulator.

Outside of work and school, Andrew likes to play PC games, run tabletop games with friends, and hike. The biggest hike he’s done was part of El Camino in Spain and he hopes to do more challenging ones in the future.
