Senior R&D Engineer
Dr. Bo Dong started to work at Kitware as a computer vision researcher in March 2017. Before his appointment at Kitware, he was an AI research engineer at NovuMind, Inc., and a senior software engineer at ESPN. Prior to these roles, he was a research assistant in the Computer Graphics Research Group at the College of William and Mary.
Dr. Dong completed his B.S. in 2004 from Northeastern University in China. He received his M.S. in 2009 from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, where his research mainly focused on localization for underwater sensor networks. Dr. Dong received his doctoral degree in 2015 from the College of William and Mary. There, he worked on many exciting projects for computer graphics research that related to inverse rendering.
