Senior R&D Engineer
Eric’s background is quite varied, including hardware experience in Programmable logic, PCB design and embedded systems architecture. On the software side, he has experience in HPC with networked x86 windows and C++, as well as distributed data collection, processing and high performance API design. He was half of a two person team that built and commercialized a modern Linux based configurable HVAC control system, including hardware, software and supply chain management.
For fun, Eric enjoys building things and learning new skills, especially when done in conjunction. Some of his older projects included a home-made Quad-Copter (now commonly called a drone), a mineral oil cooled PC, and a capacitive touch sense trigger system for paintball markers. More recently, he tore an entire house apart from the frame out and rebuilt it.
