From April 28 to May 2, developers and language experts from around the world will gather in Aspen, Colorado for C++Now 2025, a premier event dedicated to the evolution and application of the C++ language. Kitware is excited to participate in this year’s conference, where we’ll connect with fellow developers, share insights from our work in modern software infrastructure, and engage in lively technical discussions at the Aspen Center for Physics.

This course will introduce trame and go over the basics (reactive state, method calls, custom-widgets, from vue to Python syntax). We'll cover VTK and ParaView in the context of trame. Then we'll explore the various deployment options from a single code base (local, desktop, jupyter, cloud, ondemand). Finally we live 30 minutes for open questions.

The Slicer Shape AnaLysis Toolbox (SlicerSALT) is a robust open source toolkit that allows biomedical scientists to precisely locate shape changes in their imaging studies. This webinar will teach you how to use SlicerSALT to interpret dynamic anatomical changes in 3D and 4D through statistical shape analysis. We will go through SALT’s functionality for modeling, performing statistics, and data visualization in diverse anatomical systems. We will also cover how to interpret the multi-dimensional, comprehensive results.

The beginner course offers a firsthand look at the Visualization Toolkit for users/developers coming from different backgrounds. The course is structured to introduce the students to VTK, teach the most fundamental concepts and set up a working environment and explore simple visualization pipelines.

This beginner course will introduce participants to the fundamental aspects of 3D Slicer, a free and open source software package for image analysis and scientific visualization. The course will guide participants in understanding the software interface, data loading and visualization functionality, and segmentation and registration capabilities.

As simulations grow in complexity and computational demands increase, traditional post-processing pipelines are increasingly inefficient. Catalyst is a flexible, high-performance platform that enables in situ integration of state-of-the-art analysis and visualization tools, including ParaView and ADIOS. Learn how to leverage Catalyst to streamline your workflows without sacrificing functionality.

The advanced course builds upon the knowledge gained from the beginner course. It offers in-depth training on writing filters, composite data pipelines and advanced rendering approaches with VTK.
