As a founding member of OSEHRA and an active participant throughout the three years of OSHERA’s existence, Kitware has had an important impact on OSEHRA’s Open Source Infrastructure and practices, as well as the dissemination of its open source message.

This year, Kitware will again have a significant presence at the summit, with members serving as session chairs for the Imaging and ANSI standards sessions. Members of Kitware will also be presenting talks on both the operations of the OSEHRA Certification Working Group through the previous year and on efforts to promote the use of EHR databases in the testing and teaching of EHR processes.

Kitware’s participation in the 2014 OSEHRA Open Source Summit includes:

  • Leading the Certification Working Group Activities
  • Leading a technical session on emerging ANSI standard on open-source software quality
  • Presenting training on creating public EHR datasets
  • Serving as a chair for abstract presentations for the Imaging track
  • Serving on the Open Source Principles and Practices Committee

Descriptions of the sessions and activities are provided below. To learn how Kitware can help you meet your current open-source software challenges, please contact (518) 371-3971 or kitware@kitware.com.
