Open Source Festival (OSF) is a celebration of open source communities presented by the University at Albany student chapter of the Association for Information Science and Technology (assis&t). This year, the format of the festival will differ from previous years in that presenters will be stationed throughout the ballroom, where they will interact with small groups of audience members.
Marcus D. Hanwell will present on Open Source and Open Science at the Nanoscale from 1:30 pm to 2:00pm.
D’jay Deo will present on Building and Posing 3d Action Figures in 30 Minutes with Blender, Ready for 3d Printing from 1:30 pm to 4:00pm. Please note that a laptop and three button wheel mouse are strongly recommended to bring to the presentation.
Kitware, a sponsor of the event, will be conducting mock interviews.
