TER@TEC is an international meeting focused on high performance design and simulation. Will Schroeder will present a the keynote address entitled ‘The Imperative of Open Science.’
Future scientific progress depends on Open Access, Open Data, and Open Source: the three pillars of Open Science. These practices enable us to leverage the expertise of contributors around the world; build trust in foundational technologies; and engage in unencumbered scientific exploration and engineering innovation. This presentation addresses these issues, and discussed ways in which Open Science can be practiced now.
