Michael graduated from RPI with a Bachelor’s in Chemistry / Psychology dual major in 2011. Following this, he worked as a Research Scientist at AMRI, scaling up drug synthesis pathways from bench to pilot plant scale. After an inspiring hackathon, he decided to pursue machine learning. He received a Bachelor’s in Computer Science at SUNY Albany in 2016 and started consulting as a freelance data scientist thereafter.
Outside of work, Michael helps coordinate the Tech Valley Machine Learning meetup, which presents on the latest trends in the field. He enjoys object manipulation, fire spinning, hiking, and geeking out in technical discussions, especially on the topic of neuroscience.
