Mary Key, MPH is a senior compliance analyst on Kitware’s Compliance Team located in Carrboro, North Carolina. She develops and maintains company policies and procedures to ensure Kitware is in compliance with federal regulations.

Prior to joining Kitware, Mary worked at the Duke Health Institutional Review Board. She was responsible for conducting scientific and ethical reviews of research studies and consent documents to maintain compliance with federal regulations. She also ensured the protection of human research subjects.

Mary received her Master of Public Health degree in Health Behavior from the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health. This is also where she earned her graduate certificate in global health. Mary received her bachelor’s degree in women’s studies, with a minor in chemistry, from Duke University Trinity College of Arts and Sciences. She earned a certificate in the study of ethics while attending Duke as well.
