Rachel Malo is an associate contracts administrator at Kitware. In this role, she supports the full contract lifecycle for Kitware’s government and commercial clients, contributing to proposal development, contract management, and post-award administration.

Prior to her work in human resources, Rachel served as a behavioral health counselor at Pathlight Mood and Anxiety, where she supported patients through de-escalation techniques, daily check-ins, and group therapy assistance. She also gained experience in higher education as a first-year interest group instructor at the University of Washington, where she taught and mentored first-year students, planned and delivered weekly coursework, and supported students’ academic and personal development.

Rachel earned a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Education, Learning, and Society from the University of Washington.

Professional Accomplishments
I was given the opportunity to create my own research project at the University of Washington, examining the relationship between teacher burnout rates and disciplinary actions post-COVID-19 in school-based settings.
