Shelly Belsky is an R&D engineer on Kitware’s Software Solutions Team located in Clifton Park, New York. She is currently enrolled in Kitware’s Open Source Software Technology Program (OSTP). Under the OSTP, Shelly has been gaining hands-on experience while working toward her master’s degree. This has allowed her to expand her knowledge in both an academic and professional setting. As a member of the OSTP, Shelly is learning to develop innovative open source software platforms in the areas of computer vision, scientific computing, data and analytics, medical computing, and software solutions.

Shelly received her bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
