Connect with Kitware at ICML 2025: Dates: Jul 13, 2025 to Jul 19, 2025 Vancouver, Canada

July 13-19, 2025 in Vancouver, Canada

Kitware is excited to participate in the 2025 International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML), one of the premier conferences for advanced, cutting-edge research in Artificial Intelligence (AI). ICML is a great opportunity for our team to connect with collaborators, scout future partnerships, and remain at the forefront of AI innovation.

This year, Kitware’s involvement includes:

  • Anthony Hoogs, Ph.D. serving as Area Chair, managing the peer review process for a set of papers on topics advancing AI and ML across advanced technical domains.
  • Arslan Basharat, Ph.D. is attending the conference and presenting our research poster ALIGN at the 2nd Workshop on Reliable and Responsible Foundation Models (R2FM) on Saturday, July 19, starting at 8:30 AM PDT in the West Ballroom C.
    • Authors: Bharadwaj Ravichandran, David Joy, Paul Elliott, Brian H Hu, Jadie Adams, Christopher Funk, Emily Veenhuis, Anthony Hoogs, and Arslan Basharat

ALIGN: Prompt-based Attribute Alignment for Reliable, Responsible, and Personalized LLM-based Decision Making

A key focus for our team at ICML is showcasing our new LLM tool, ALIGN. ALIGN is an open source, modular framework designed to enable personalized LLM-based decision-makers and compare different human-aligned decision-making approaches. Aligning automated decision-makers to human decision-makers is a critical and essential task for human trust in AI algorithms. It enables humans to guide algorithms toward their desired outcomes. See the ALIGN system overview below.
