Spiros Tsalikis

Spiros Tsalikis is an R&D engineer working remotely on Kitware’s Scientific Computing Team. He develops visualization algorithms in addition to maintaining and expanding visualization toolkits and applications, including the Visualization Toolkit (VTK) and ParaView.

Before joining Kitware full-time, Spiros was a scientific computing R&D intern. During his internship, he helped develop and support VTK and ParaView. He also worked as a graduate research assistant for the Old Dominion University Research Foundation and was involved in multiple projects, such as generating unstructured adaptive lookup tables of Compton Form Factors for fast Monte Carlo Event Generation.

Spiros received his master’s degree in computer science from Old Dominion University in 2021. In 2019, he received his bachelor’s degree in informatics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
